Shanghai, 3 March 2025. The Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA&CLE) is set to return to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 12 – 14 November 2025, to showcase the remarkable evolution in the laundry industry. A leading event for the Asian laundry and textile care industry, TXCA&CLE 2025 will build on the success of the 2024 edition, to further propel the global laundry sector towards intelligent solutions, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Spaces for TXCA&CLE 2025 are in high demand, with many leading brands having secured their spots, reflecting the growing anticipation for this premier event driving the smart transformation of the laundry industry. Confirmed participants include Asahi, Baiqiang, CLM, Haier, Hoop, Jensen, Kannegiesser, Laundrymate, Oasis, Sankosha, Sea-Lion, Weishi, and others, showcasing innovative products and shaping the future of the sector.

TXCA&CLE 2025 will focus on the unique needs and opportunities within the Asian laundry market. The show will present the latest technologies and sustainable solutions from across China, Southeast Asia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The 2025 edition will explore three key areas:

Smart transformation: Featuring advanced technologies that are redefining the future of laundry, including breakthroughs in automation, artificial intelligence and digital integration. The integration of AI technology into the washing sector will introduce fresh ideas for transformation and drive the industry towards greater innovation.

Sustainability: Presenting eco-friendly approaches to water and energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable business practices.

Operational efficiency: Highlighting cost-effective solutions tailored to the needs of diverse laundry markets, from industrial laundries to on-demand services.

Focusing on the specific challenges and priorities of local markets, TXCA&CLE 2025 has become a key platform for addressing the needs of the industry in Asia. Mr Gavin Xiao, Sales Director China, Herbert Kannegiesser Laundry Equipment (Shanghai) Co Ltd, explained: “TXCA&CLE reflects the demand of the Chinese market, where automated production lines, energy efficiency, and digital management systems have become top priorities. This makes it an essential event for businesses focused on high-volume, cost-effective solutions tailored to the region. Participating in TXCA&CLE is not only an essential way to stay on top of industry trends but also a valuable opportunity to showcase innovative achievements and build business partnerships.”

Mr Lv Liyi, Chairman of Shanghai Weishi Machinery Co Ltd, echoed this sentiment, emphasising the fair’s critical role in shaping the future of the laundry industry: “TXCA&CLE is a renowned event that brings together top professionals, fosters innovation, and leads the way forward for the global washing industry. In 2025, Weishi will once again participate, showcasing intelligent and efficient washing technologies. Together with TXCA&CLE, Weishi aims to embrace new opportunities, navigate industry changes, and play a key role in the industry’s transformation.”

Economic drivers for the laundry market in Asia-Pacific
The Home & Laundry Care market in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is projected to generate revenues of USD 70.85 billion by 2025, with an annual growth rate of 3.39% (CAGR 2025 – 2029). The sector’s largest segment, laundry care, is expected to reach a market volume of USD 41.21 billion in 2025, with revenues on a per capita basis estimated at USD 16.44. Additionally, online sales will contribute a significant 37.1% of total revenue by 2025.

This growth is further supported by macroeconomic and sector-specific trends in China. In the first half of 2024, domestic tourism in China reached total spending of RMB 2.73 trillion (approximately USD 376 billion), marking a 19% year-on-year increase, highlighting the robust recovery and expansion of the tourism sector. This surge directly impacts related industries, including laundry and textile care, as increased travel drives demand for hospitality laundry services.

Additionally, the healthcare sector is playing a pivotal role. From January to April 2024, the utilisation rate of hospital beds in China increased to 80.8%, reflecting a 0.2% year-on-year rise. The growing demand for healthcare services has a direct correlation with the laundry and textile care industry, particularly in medical and hygiene-related services, as hospitals and healthcare facilities require reliable, high-volume, and hygienic laundry solutions.

The sustained growth of the Home & Laundry Care market in the APAC region, driven by rising tourism, healthcare demands, and evolving consumer preferences, underscores the increasing importance of innovative and efficient laundry practices. TXCA&CLE is uniquely positioned to address these trends, offering a platform for industry professionals to explore state-of-the-art technologies, sustainable practices, and tailored solutions that meet the region’s growing and diverse needs.
